OIL QUENCH

Cooling operation, previously heated steels, by immersion in a fluid, by spraying a fluid, or by blowing air. The cooling is carried out in a controlled manner (speed, temperature) according to the targeted characteristics.
Oil quenching consists of immersion cooling in a tank of hot, stirred oil. It makes it possible to minimize the deformation of the parts, while guaranteeing a good hardness-deformation compromise.
